Rabbit Sculpture

Rabbits are a great subject to start with when sculpting animals. This class will teach you basic sculpting techniques for making animal heads. We will discuss various animals to sculpt, how to make colored slip, and create fur texture. Along with glazing and firing we will discuss displaying your sculpture. Although this is a long class it is appropriate for all ages and skill levels.
Sprig Handled Platter

Sprig handles are fabulous for so many things, especially large platters. In this class you’ll learn to make & use sprig molds. You’ll also learn to make a large rounded rectangular platter from a slab of clay. This class uses basic hand building skills and is appropriate for all ages and skill levels.
Tripod Mug

Tripod mugs are such a fun and simple way to make a pottery mug because there is no bottom! Well, yes there is, but you don’t need to make a separate one and I’ll show you how it’s done. Oh, and this project also makes a great planter too.
Large Platter

There is nothing like serving a meal on a platter you made yourself. In this class you’ll use basic hand building skills and GR Pottery forms to make a large platter. We’ll discuss glazing and firing along with use and care so your platter will last for generations.
Bird House

Make your very own bird house with this easy and fun class. With step-by-step instruction, you’ll learn to make a bird house from clay slabs. We’ll go over glazing and firing along with how to make your bird house safe for birds to use. This bird house will be a lovely addition to your home or put it outside for your feathered friends to enjoy.
Pierced Bowl

Learn how to create a stylish, one-of-a-kind pierced bowl with this fun class. I’ll show you how easy it is to make cut-out designs and patterns on your hand-built bowl. This style bowl is perfect as a candy dish, fruit bowl, candle holder, and more.
Handbuilt Teapot

This super cute teapot is easy and fun to make. I’ll show you how to make it full of character and volume using clay slabs.
Egg Tray

Learn to make this egg-cellent egg tray with this fun and simple class. I’ll show you how to make your very own from slabs using GR Pottery Forms.
Hand Built Casserole and Loaf Pans

There is nothing like using your own pottery to bake in. I’ll show you both a square casserole and a loaf pan. We’ll make 2 different style handles and discuss best clays/glazes for ovenware. Plus, my Pumpkin Bread recipe!
